Tuition and Financial Aid

Need help paying for college? Many sources of financial aid are available for qualifying students. Learn more about DCCCD Financial Aid.

Paying your tuition

Tuition is the dollar amount you pay for your courses. The amount of tuition you pay is based on where you live and the number of credit hours you are taking. See the tuition schedule for due dates.

Dallas County Community College District accepts the following methods of payment: cash, checks, money orders, credit cards, bank debit cards.

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express credit cards. All checks must include a valid driver's license number, date of birth and the daytime phone number of the person signing the check.

Scholarship opportunities

  • DCCCD Foundation. The DCCCD Foundation offers over 300 scholarship opportunities to students at North Lake and the other Dallas community colleges.
  • Rising Star program. The Rising Star program provides academic support services and up to $4,000 to high school graduates with demonstrated financial need.
  • Non-DCCCD scholarships. Visit the Financial Aid office to learn about outside scholarship opportunities.

Payment plans

A Pay Plan allows you to pay your tuition in installments. It may be set up in person at the cashier or online through eConnect. You may choose to pay tuition in installments only during the fall and spring semesters.

To be considered officially withdrawn from one or more classes and eligible for a refund, a student must have filed the appropriate form with the college within the refund period or completed the appropriate process on eConnect. Refunds for flexible-entry classes are prorated based on the number of weeks each class spans.

Discounts on Transportation

Students are eligible for discounted passes on Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), to help easily and affordably reach North Lake by train or by bus. These passes are available at a discounted rate directly from DART. Student must present North Lake College school ID card at time of purchase.
Parking passes are free.
