North Lake College offers a high-quality, supportive environment with classes offered days, nights, weekends and online. Our classes are affordable, and if you need help paying for tuition, various funding sources are available, including grants, scholarships and student loans.
Dallas County Community College District accepts the following methods of payment: cash, checks, money orders, credit cards, bank debit cards.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express credit cards. All checks must include a valid driver's license number, date of birth and the daytime phone number of the person signing the check.
Tuition is the dollar amount you pay for your courses. The amount of tuition you pay is based on where you live and the number of credit hours you are taking. See the tuition schedule
for due dates.
If you need help paying for college, many funding sources are available including grants, scholarships, work-study programs and student loans. The Financial Aid Office staff can help you complete required forms, explain eligibility requirements and provide deadlines for application.
A Pay Plan allows you to pay your tuition in installments. It may be set up in person at the cashier or online through eConnect. You may choose to pay tuition in installments only during the fall and spring semesters.
North Lake College honors all veterans and active-duty military and their service to our country. If you are a veteran, or a survivor or dependant of a veteran, you may be eligible for veterans' educational benefits to help you achieve a valuable education. The Veterans Affairs Office offers individual academic advisement, registration, degree planning, course certification for VA benefits, and referrals for campus and community resources.
To be considered officially withdrawn from one or more classes and eligible for a refund, a student must have filed the appropriate form with the college within the refund period or completed the appropriate process on eConnect. Refunds for flexible-entry classes are prorated based on the number of weeks each class spans.
Students are eligible for discounted passes on Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), to help easily and affordably reach North Lake by train or by bus. These passes are available at a discounted rate of $200.00 for Fall or Spring semesters only. There are no refunds or replacements for DART Pass Stickers. Student must present North Lake College school ID card at time of purchase.
